About Our Team

Sara Barber, CMCA  founded HOAM, Inc. in June of 2007 with Robin Oakes. Sara graduated with an degree in Accounting in 1982. She worked for Bank of America for 25 years, while at the same time, has been in the construction field for 30 years. Sara holds designation as a Certified Manager of Community Associations through the Community Associations Institute. Sara has completed all CAI M-200 classes.

Robin Oakes, CMCA, AMS, founded HOAM, Inc. in June of 2007 with Sara Barber, after 20 years of property management experience. Her career in real estate began in 1987 at Steven D. Bell and Company where she worked in the Condominium Division until the Division was sold in 2002. She then served a dual role as Office Manager and Property Manager in a large association management firm in Greensboro. She holds designations as an Association Management Specialist and as a Certified Manager of Community Associations through the Community Associations Institute.

Property Managers

Tom Bailey, CMCA joined the HOAM, Inc. team with over 20 years experience in construction and property management. His education includes a B.S. in Finance with a concentration in real estate and investments. This background provides an understanding of the issues most homeowners encounter and the experience to assist them with their concerns. Tom holds designation as a Certified Manager of Community Associations through the Community Associations Institute.

Tracy Moore, CMCA joined the HOAM, Inc. team with 13 years of experience in multi-site multifamily management and training. She has held the Certified Apartment Manager designation through the National Apartment Association. Tracy holds designation as a Certified Manager of Community Associations through the Community Associations Institute.

Vicki Jensen, CMCA  began her career in the property management field in 1984 with Steven D. Bell & Company.  She has worked with homeowner associations and investors managing property in Greensboro for 26 years. She has worked with both sides of homeowner associations as a property manager assisting homeowners on a daily basis and as an owner of a condominium and serving on several Board of Directors. She is licensed NC Real Estate Broker and a Notary Public. Vicki holds designation as a Certified Manager of Community Associations through the Community Associations Institute.

Accounting

Juanita Best, Accounting Manager is one of the original employees from when HOAM was founded. She has over fifteen years experience in the accounting field and all her experience has been working with homeowners associations. Juanita is always willing to work with Treasurers and other Board members regarding understanding the importance of their finances.

Annette Cox, Accounts Payable Manager joined  HOAM, Inc. in April 2008.  Her career has primarily been in the administrative/accounting field.  She enjoys working with numbers, problem solving and research.

Administrative

Lauren Ferguson, is one of the original employees from when HOAM was founded.  She works closely with property managers and has a broad knowledge of associations and how they operate.  Lauren also has a lot of knowledge about office machines, computers and is also our webmaster.

Tiffany Watt, joined HOAM, Inc. with 20 plus years of customer service and sales experience.  Tiffany is the friendly voice that answers the phone when you contact our office.  She also assists the property management staff as well as homeowners.

Martha Tyner, joined HOAM, Inc. in 2010. She joined our team with many years of customer service experience and property management experience.

Mary Munn, has ten years experience in residential land development which included working on the acquisition of raw land, permitting, installation of infrastructure, working with engineers, subcontractors, and inspectors through setting up homeowner associations, managing processes and meeting with homeowners. She has also served on numerous boards for over 10 years.
