About Our Team


Robin Oakes, CMCA, AMS, PCAM,  co-founded  HOAM, Inc. in June of 2007, after 20 years of property management experience. Her career in real estate began in 1987 at Steven D. Bell and Company where she worked in the Condominium Division until the Division was sold in 2002. She then served a dual role as Office Manager and Property Manager in a large association management firm in Greensboro. She holds designations as a Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA), Association Management Specialist (AMS) and the highest designation you can obtain, Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM) through the Community Associations Institute.


Association Managers


Tom Bailey, CMCA joined the HOAM, Inc. team with over 20 years experience in construction and property management. His education includes a B.S. in Finance with a concentration in real estate and investments. This background provides an understanding of the issues most homeowners encounter and the experience to assist them with their concerns. Tom holds designation as a Certified Manager of Community Associations through the Community Associations Institute.




Jason Rothrock, CMCA, joined HOAM, Inc. in June of 2013. His education background includes obtaining the Certified Hospitality Manager designation from Coastal Carolina University, as well as currently being licensed as a NC Real Estate Broker. Jason has over 5 years HOA and property management experience, which entails managing 4 Diamond and Gold Crown properties in the Myrtle Beach area. He also comes to us with over 15 years of customer service management experience. Jason has served on numerous boards, including developer boards, and is currently serving on the board for his own HOA.


Jeff McLean, CMCA joined HOAM, Inc. in March of 2016 with 20 plus years of experience in commercial and multi-family residential property management, and construction. Prior to joining HOAM, Inc., he was the assistant vice president for a local apartment management company. He has worked on several multi-million construction projects. Jeff is focused on growth by providing quality customer service while placing strong emphasis on value appreciation of associations.



Vicki Burgess, CMCA, AMS joined HOAM, Inc. with over 10 years in HOA management experience and over 20 years of office management and customer service experience.  Vicki is a native of Michigan and moved to North Carolina in 1994.  She attended UNCG and Southwestern Michigan College studying business administration.  Vicki’s strengths include attention to detail, working efficiently and providing top notch customer service to her clients.




Patricia Woods, joined HOAM, Inc. in 2014. She has over 25 years of bookkeeping experience and has worked in the following industries: condominium association management, residential property management, HVAC installation and service, and commercial property management. Patricia was a property manager of residential real estate for 7 years and during that time created a rental division for Prudential Chaplin-Williams Real Estate in Amelia Island Florida. Patricia grew up and returned to this area eight years ago to be close to family.



Annette Cox, Accounts Payable Manager joined  HOAM, Inc. in April 2008.  Her career has primarily been in the administrative/accounting field.  She enjoys working with numbers, problem solving and research.

Darlene Ward, is a native of Greensboro. She began her career in the Property Management customer service in 1993.  She has worked with homeowner associations and commercial property management in Greensboro for 24 years. She assists homeowners and her property managers on a daily basis. Darlene is also Notary Public.







Lauren Ferguson, joined HOAM, Inc. in June 2007.
